At our acting classes, we guarantee to keep class sizes small, provide script work/improvisation on alternate weeks, film scene work at least twice a term with access to playback, and keep prices as low as possible.

24 Frames are rolling out our first term of Screen acting workshops in March of this year. Thursday evenings 6:30pm- 9:30pm from 13th March to 17th April. (A 6 week term). We’ve managed to secure a great venue with onsite parking and excellent transport links from Newcastle city centre.Read More

Joe Teague

Acting Coach

Native to Newcastle, Joe studied a BA in Performance at Northumbria University & later an MA in Screen Acting at Central School of Speech and Drama. After a period as a jobbing actor he turned to working behind the camera.

John McMahon

Acting Coach

John is a working-class jobbing actor from Newcastle upon Tyne working in all mediums. He gained a BA hons Drama at the University of Sunderland and then an MA in Theatre, and Performance Practice at Northumbria University. John has worked as a Theatre maker, director and producer. He co/founded One For All Productions 2012- 2022 and was their Creative director. As a writer he co-wrote Alpha Mail, winner of Dojo Films 48hour short film competition 2005. As a writer/Director he produced the Short Film “Talking Crap” Shown at the Portobello Film Festival 2008 and in 2014 he was the Project Manager for Heritage Lottery /Arts council funded project about North East Women involved in the Miners strike of 1984, resulting in him writing, directing and producing the play 84 which toured across the region .In 2018 he produced an award winning short Girl and a Scar (Written and directed by Dave Cave) recipient of critic’s choice best short film at the Cardiff International Film Festival.

Acting Workshops

We aim to deliver quality workshops in Screen Acting for those wishing to pursue a career in Film and TV. These workshops are aimed at trained actors without screen acting skills and those with little or no experience.

Audition Preparation

Our audition preparation services guide actors in selecting appropriate monologues, improving their audition technique, and building confidence. Through mock auditions and personalized coaching, we prepare actors to showcase their abilities and stand out in auditions.
